SURFADOL® MD-20

Surfadol MD-20 defoamer is an organic molecular defoamer based on Gemini surfactant technology. This unique multifunctional defoamer can provide a combination of foam control and dynamic wetting. Surfadol MD-20 defoamer can be exceptionally effective at reducing foam-related defects in waterborne systems. It can provide foam control and reduce microfoam without the incompatibilities or other issues associated with silicone or mineral oil defoamers.

Processing instructions

  • • Addition to the coating as supplied or as a predilution is possible.
  • • Can be added during the let-down stage or other stage.
  • • Best microfoam control can be achieved if the additive is prediluted with co-solvents such as alcohols or ethers.

Package and storage

The standard package for this material is 200kg drums, 4 drums per pallet.

The product can also be supplied in 25kg pails, 18 pails per pallet.

Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. 

The shelf life for this product is 24 months from the date of manufacture, in closed container at the storage temperature of 4℃~50℃.
