SURFADIOLS 20000 is a 100% active polymeric dispersant which can improve the dispersion and stability of organic and inorganic pigments in paint and ink systems, especially suitable for carbon black. Solvent free.

Special properties
Scope of application
The additive is recommended for both aqueous and solvent-borne systems: Aniline inks, water-based coatings and inks, polyurethane systems, two-component acrylic systems, and automotive coatings.
Incorporation and Processing Instructions
For optimum performance, the resin and solvent components shall be premixed first, and then the additive shall be added slowly and mixed evenly, before addition of pigments. Were the sequence wrong, the additive can be post-added slowly with high shear force.
Avoid direct contact with skin. In case of accidental contact with skin, wash the skin immediately with soap water and clear it with water.
Recommended Levels
Amount of additive (as supplied) based upon pigment:
Inorganic pigments: 4% – 8%
Organic pigments: 8% – 15%
Titanium dioxides: 0.5% – 1%
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
Package and storage
The standard package is 25kg pails, 18 pails per pallet.
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place at 10-35°C, away from heat and fire. When stored in an original unopened packaging, the product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
